While being a bride to be is certainly an exciting time, it can be stressful and overwhelming. Here are a few tips to help ensure you’re enjoying your big day!
Break the shoes in! Wear them while cooking, cleaning, just lounging around the house. Seriously, having a pair of shoes not quite broken in can put some serious strain and stress on our feet. With all the walking, dancing, and standing for pictures you’ll be doing, your feet will thank you for putting in the time to break in the shoes prior to the big day.
Set up an emergency kit- a small makeup carrier of essentials could be the savior of an emergency. Things such as a travel size deodorant, a stain stick, gum, a sewing kit, and even chocolate could help turn a potential disaster around.
Pick your wing-woman/man! This doesn’t necessarily have to be your maid of honor since they’ll have other responsibilities too. This person is going to be responsible for keeping an eye on you! Lipstick retouches, fly-away hairs, and a cheerleader are all responsibilities. If your wedding planner won’t be handling gift transportation, this person can be in charge of gathering all the gifts and cards (and other keepsakes) to get them where they need to be after the reception.
