As the year wraps up and we begin prep for the upcoming new year, Lulu Events wants to take a moment to look back at all that has happened over the past year. 2022 has been an astounding year for us and we hit so many milestones.

Some of our big wins include Vicki leaving her 9-5 job to focus solely on Lulu Events. While this was a giant leap and took some time, the ability to pour all of the attention and focus into the business has been incredibly freeing. Vicki is now able to do exactly what she loves, have the freedom to spend more time with her family, and really put the attention into building up the brand. That jump also led to the investment of doing a total rebrand and launching our new website.

Getting to work with Katie from Ribbon and Ink in order to redesign the brand look was thrilling and proved to be a great decision. Having a gorgeous website and getting creative to come up with what feelings and looks Lulu Events put out to the world has transformed the business. So many great tips and tricks were learned in order to really connect with our couples and put ourself out there for even more potential couples.

We celebrated with 24 couples this year ranging from a few ‘micro’ weddings with only a handful of guests to giant celebrations with hundreds of guests. Venues from state parks, a donut shop, farms, and beautiful reception halls gave us the opportunity to expand our suggestions for future brides. We travelled everywhere from Tallahassee to St. Augustine to areas in Georgia. Each couple this year brought so much love, humor, and light to their celebrations and had unique additions for their personalities and relationship to shine.

Thank you to each and every couple, vendor, venue, and partners we’ve worked with in 2022. It was a year of exploration and growth. We are so excited to ring in the New Year and celebrate with each of the 29 couples who have booked with us so far.
